Nothing New Here

I doubt that I even have any readers for my blog. I don't even look at my blog very often, but just decided to update it anyway. Nathan is weatherizing houses for his dad, who has a contract through OACAC (Ozark Area Community Action Corp). I do all the paperwork. It is a nice job and I do not have far to drive.:) We have just about calved out all of our heifers, so our herd has nearly doubled. Anyway, that sums up my life these days. I can't complain, I have a good life.

Something New

I know it's been awhile since I blogged last, but my life is not really very exciting. I have been working some, and doing a little gardening. This is very new to me, so hopefully I will not kill all the veggies. I have also been planting flowers in pots and in flower beds. Have you ever tried to dig into Missouri soil? Rocks...so many, many rocks. What's the point of putting yourself through all of that, you may ask? No problem, just have dirt delivered, and cover up all the stinkin' rocks. Yes, the rocks are still there, but you can't see them.:) Anyway, I hope to have a good turnout after all of my hard labor. Ok so maybe my garden is only 10 by 14, but plenty for me and the dude.

WOW!! Three Posts In One Day

These little flowers are growing across the road...we cut a few and brought them to brighten up our dining room.

First Time For Everything

This was my first attempt at a pecan pie. It turned out pretty good, but maybe next time the consistency will be even better.
